In November 2006, EFSVALVES participated in ADIPEC 2006, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 5 to 8 November 2006. This edition of ADIPEC was one of the key international meeting points for the oil and gas industry in the Middle East, bringing together companies, technical suppliers, distributors and project professionals from across the region.
ADIPEC 2006 was the 12th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, gathering more than 1,200 exhibitors from 54 countries. For EFSVALVES and Calvo Sealing, the event offered a valuable opportunity to understand the technical expectations and commercial dynamics of a strategic industrial region.
Our participation took place through the Spanish Pavilion, supported by ICEX, and represented one of our first direct contacts with the Middle East oil and gas market. Although it was a modest presence within a shared exhibition stand, the experience proved to be highly valuable for our industrial group.
During the exhibition, we presented the capabilities of Calvo Sealing in gaskets and sealing solutions, together with the EFSVALVES range of safety valves, pressure regulators, vacuum relief valves, breather valves and venting equipment for industrial applications.
The response from visitors was extremely positive. We received professionals from across the region, who shared their views on the local market, technical requirements and project opportunities. In several cases, the meetings also generated concrete enquiries and opened the door to future commercial relationships.
ADIPEC 2006 was a turning point for our international activity in the region. The success of this first participation encouraged us to continue attending later editions of ADIPEC, progressively strengthening our presence in the Middle East and our positioning as a technical supplier for oil, gas and industrial projects.
We would like to thank all customers, distributors and visitors from the region who met with us during the exhibition. Their interest and confidence helped us understand the market and confirmed the potential of our valve and sealing solutions for demanding industrial applications.
Looking back, ADIPEC 2006 remains an important milestone in the international history of EFSVALVES and Calvo Sealing: a first contact that became the beginning of a long-term relationship with one of the most strategic industrial regions in the world.
