Potable Water and Sustainability in Mirfa 2: Successful Supply of Safety Relief Valves and ball valves
In 2024, our company successfully supplied Pressure Safety Valves (PSV) of sizes 10″ x 14″ and 3″ x 4″ for the prestigious Mirfa 2 Desalination Project. This project, a key initiative to enhance water security in the region, required high-performance safety valves to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the desalination process.
The Mirfa 2 Desalination Plant, one of the world’s largest energy-efficient desalination plants, plays a crucial role in providing a sustainable and reliable water supply through seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) technology. By incorporating advanced desalination techniques, the plant helps address the growing demand for potable water in arid regions, reducing dependency on traditional freshwater sources and promoting environmental sustainability.
In addition to the PSV units, we also offered Ball Valves (3-piece, 800 lbs) with threaded and flanged ends in Super Duplex Stainless Steel, Grade A-8905-A, available in different diameters from 1/2″ to 4″. These valves are easy to install, require minimal maintenance, and can be automated both pneumatically and electrically. Additionally, they are available in stock for prompt delivery. These high-performance valves further enhance the operational efficiency and durability of the desalination infrastructure.
